Every day my dad went to work very early, he stayed away from home for many hours, maybe it could have been more if he hadn't loved to get home minutes before the time this "comiquita" started on television, (that's what we called it). All of us at home were already preparing to receive him, help him take off his shoes and stockings and put the TV channel where he would start the reason for his return home early, he enjoyed it a lot. Yes! MazingerZ was the first anime I ever saw, thanks to my dad. From there I felt a great attraction for robots, so much so that one Christmas I asked the boy Jesus to bring me one. I had a very nice one, it made noises and walked, but it didn't have a built-in pilot like the one from MazingerZ.

When I was a kid my life was not different from what other kids do, that was going to school, playing with my friends and watching TV, not so much in that order or importance because I really liked watching TV, most of the animated series I watched were American, these were "The Super Friends", the many series of "Hanna-Barbera", the "Looney Toons" and one of my favorite series, "He-Man and The Master of the Universe", but there was one that stands out from the rest, a different one and that I consider to be the best series I saw as a child, that is "Mazinger Z "; every time it was broadcasted I sat down to watch this animated series or "comic" because at a young age and at that time nobody called "Anime " to any series coming from Japan, the only thing that mattered was the design of its characters and the adventures they had and of course the battles, I was always a faithful follower of Mazinger.

Saint Seiya, is an animated series based on the manga Saint Seiya written by Japanese author and cartoonist, Masami Kurumada. It dates back to the '80s, specifically 1985. This manga was adapted to anime, as happens with some successful manga. Its first broadcast was on October 11, 1986 (almost a year after the manga's premiere) by the television network Tv Asahi and was produced by Toei Animation (the production company that still holds the rights to this anime series). According to Wikipedia, it had 114 episodes, an OVA (Original Video Animation) which was the Saga of Hades, of 31 episodes and an ONA (Original Net Animation) or exclusive series for Internet, which was the case of "Soul of Gold" or "Soul of Gold" of 13 episodes, in total 158. In addition, five animated films and a CG animated film have been produced, apart from several prequels and official sequels to the original story. All the official information about the Saint Seiya anime and, in turn, the official sites of the original series, its OVA, ONA and spin-off, can be found at this link.

This movie is the confirmation that Anime is not just simple cartoons for children. The anime is in charge of telling a story, of giving life to characters that have an emotional charge to convey through their expressions. All this is art, the art of drawing, of animation, of the recreation of landscapes and settings. They are things that you cannot go unnoticed when you see a good production.

A story based on a fantasy world where there are animals and even plants that are called pokemon with extraordinary abilities and powers of nature that make them unique among them because each one has different gifts such as fire, water, earth, grass, wind and many more. Highlighting the life of a boy named ASH and his little pokemon "pikachu" which will live together a great and epic adventure while they meet and learn to work together becoming great friends, no doubt an anime that not only filled my childhood with happiness but that of all who had the pleasant opportunity to enjoy it where in each chapter transmitted caused emotion, satisfaction and always a smile despite the time, even today is a renowned anime and quality that I recommend with eyes closed.
