So I took a little break from the WEIRD, but it feels good to be back into the swing of things, and there is no shortage of WEIRD to bring you.
A huge hairy blob-like creature washed ashore around 7pm May 12th in the Oriental Mindoro province in the Philippines.

Local residents fear that this is a sign or warning of something bad to come, such as a huge earthquake, when sea creatures from the deepest depths surface like this.
People from the region rushed to see the 20 ft long hairy carcass, while some feared and asked others to pray for them, as this could be a sign of horrible things to come.
Local resident Imelda Mariz stated "I couldn't believe what it was, I've never seen anything like it. In God's name, I was shocked. The children were scared it was a dead monster. Nobody knows what it is yet."

As of now, the exact species is unknown.
Tissue samples have been sent for DNA analysis.
Fishery Law Enforcement Officer Vox Krusada stated "The local government of Gloria will now bury the carcass. And damn it smells awful. it smells like something from another planet.
"I really experienced the full power of its smell because im the one who took the tissue samples. I almost puked. I felt better after taking a bath but the stench still lingers in my nose."
