Good day guys ☺️, today is another day of cleaning, and as we all know we are now in the raining season so we have to adapt. Today's cleaning activity was a bit troublesome because it rained yesterday and so there was a lot of water around be i found a way to get around it, and this brings use to the practice of cleaning our environment while also staying safe during the raining season.
Cleaning my environment during the rainy season is very important to stay healthy and safe. The rain often brings dirt, mud, and stagnant water, which can create a breeding ground for mosquitoes and other harmful insects. To prevent this, I make sure to regularly clear gutters and drainage systems around my home to avoid blockages and flooding. This helps water flow freely and reduces the chances of water accumulating in unwanted places.
I also sweep my surroundings daily to remove leaves, plastic bags, and other debris that the wind and rain may carry in. These items can clog drainage channels and lead to flooding. During this season, I pay special attention to areas like flower pots, old tires, and containers where water can collect. I turn them over or cover them to prevent mosquitoes from laying eggs.
Additionally, I ensure that waste is properly disposed of by placing it in closed bins and not throwing it in the open. This helps to reduce the spread of diseases and keeps the environment tidy. I also take care of my home surroundings by trimming overgrown grasses and bushes, which can harbor snakes and other dangerous animals during the wet season.
Cleaning during the rainy season may be challenging, but it is necessary to maintain good hygiene and avoid illness. A clean environment brings peace of mind and protects both my family and neighbors from infections and accidents. With commitment and teamwork, everyone in the community can enjoy a safer and healthier rainy season.
