Giving Private SpendHBD Tutorial To @umoh100

"I create a post on attending a spendHBD seminar and my shopping with HBD but I noticed there is no vote and at the end it pays out zero. What could be wrong?"

"I also have difficulty using the Ecency Front-End to create a post with the spendHBD community, I need your help."

The above were the exact words of @umoh100 to me when I saw him over the weekend. In response I told him that your post contains some formatting and typographic errors from what I have seen such as misspelled of principal tags e.g.,"#distractor" instead of "#distriator", shallow sentence construction and pictures placement among others. But principally, the tag does not drive your post to the right audience. Hence, these may prevent your post from receiving votes from the curators and the community.

He then asked, "can you give me some guidelines?" I told him, let's book an appointment at your convenience. He asked if I will be available on Tuesday, the 10th of June, which I responded that I will be around but at home. He decided that he will come to my house.

Yesterday he called around noontime to inform that he is on his way coming, and after some minutes he shows up, and after the normal welcome, we get down to business.

Creating Post On SpendHBD Using The Ecency Front-End

I asked him to log into his #ecency, and then step by step I showed him were to click to create a new post, select the community, how to create a heading as well as add tags as seen in the screenshots below:

Step 1 Click on your profile and locate "communities"

Step 2 Click on SpendHBD from the Communities list

Step 3 Select "NewPost" from the SpendHBD community

Step 4 Type your heading and tags

Alternatively, you can go through the "friend" tab and select the "edit" button at the bottom part of the screen.

Click on the small "arrow" by the side of "choose a community" to locate spendhbd

Select "SpendHBD" from the drop down list of communities

Add the title or heading of your post here

Add the tags and then start entering your text in the text box

To select and add the image of your choice, click on this icon at the bottom screen and select "Gallery"

Then to preview how your post will look like after posting, click on the "eye" icon at the top

Finally, after you are satisfied that you have entered all the details, you can click on the "Publish" at the right end corner of the screen to publish your post into the spendHBD community and other communities that you use their tags

That brings you to the end of your creating a new post on SpendHBD community using the Ecency Front-End.
