Those who have already come across my posts know that I love mountains, I love hiking and I live next to the Carpathian Mountains. Sometimes the hikes in the mountains are long, so until I reach the desired altitude, I take pictures to make the trip more interesting. That's how I took this photo of a field abundantly covered with dandelions.
In Ukrainian villages, fields are fenced off from livestock. The material for the fence is what is at hand - wood. There are many forests around, so the villagers, without thinking too much, use wood for everything. Previously, all village houses were wooden. Now new buildings are built from brick, because a brick house has its advantages.
I took these photos during a hike to Mount Sinyak. After this peak, we still had to climb Dovbushankka mountain, Vedmezhik mountain and reach the village of Bystrytsia (Ukraine). Therefore, the campaign lasted two full days. It was in June, when the dandelions bloom abundantly at the foot of the mountains.
It was a tiring hike, but the most memorable part was the overnight stay in the tent. In the conditions of mountain night coolness, we were saved by a sleeping bag. We tried to keep the fire burning all night, but the fire could not heat the tent in any way, except to burn it :-)
