Hyperion
Hyperion is a Titan, He is the son of Uranus and Gaia. Hyperion represented wisdom, light and watchfulness. He is the father of the sun, the moon, and the dawn.
Hyperion has married to his sister, Theia. They have three children, Helios (the sun), Selene (the moon) and Eos (the dawn). He considered one of the four pillars that hold the earth and heavens apart. He is the pillar of the east. The other three pillars are his brother Sirius (pillar of the south), Coeus (pillar of the north) and Iapetus (pillar of the west). These Titans were the ones that held their father Uranus in place, while Cronus castrated him with a sickle.
