Oh absolutely. We used to all sit around and make fun of political figures, even ones we voted for. Nobody would ever get mad.

Yes! Forget about that these days. For instance, we are going to visit some family for Thanksgiving and we know that we have different views. 20 years ago we could talk crap about each other's opinions and everyone would just wave a hand "awwww, whatever man" and laugh it off. Not now. At this point we have to pretend like we don't know anything and just let them talk. Because we know if we voice our opinion it's going to essentially ruin our relationship. So sad.
