This year Ijtema will be one phase. State Ijtema will host the World Ijtema on February 15-17, according to a statement by State Minister for Religious Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah.
He said this at a press briefing at the Secretariat on Thursday afternoon.Earlier on Wednesday, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal had said that in February, two parties of Maulana Jubayer Ahmed and Maulana Mohammad Saad Kandhalwe of Delhi agreed to host the World Ijtema. Then the two parties agreed to organize Ijtema together.
