Wimbledon starts in a week and the grass warm up tournaments are going on. Federer has impressed with his win at Halle over the weekend while Djokovic and Nadal aren't going to play till Wimbledon. They must be feeling pretty confident with no warm-up tourneys this year.
As for the bookies, this is how they rank the players:
I agree with them that Djokovic would be the favorite to win here. Grass suits his game and he is the defending champion after all. Andy Murray being rated so highly is a surprise. I half expect him to withdraw in one of the earlier rounds.
Grass also favors the big servers like Cilic and Raonic. Against a tired Nadal or Federer, i could see them coming victorious in an upset. Here are my picks to win Wimbledon in order:
I struggle to even get a fourth favorite because so far the other players have been very inconsistent. Nadal doesn't play too well on grass for the most part so i ruled him out.
