NEO or Antshares as it was called when i bought it was my one big hit in crypto. Bought them for cents all the way up to around $4 and sold a bunch around the highs at $160. Still had like 35 as we went through the crypto winter that i regretted not selling.
Anyway, earlier today i decided to sell and get rid of my remaining 20 NEO for around 0.03 bitcoin. The hype about NEO being the 'Chinese Ethereum' has not lived up to its promise and i don't think it ever will. There's no reason to hold on to it over bitcoin.
The thing about alts from back in 2017 is that many have not lived up to their promise and their projects have died. The next crypto bull run will probably see a whole new group of them with only a few from the old guard still in the mix. Come to think of it, some of my alts aren't even worth selling at these prices.
