I just got back yesterday and didn't have much motivation to do anything. Today, looking at the schedule of play, there's a double dose of Serena Williams at Wimbledon that i think she should be able to handle easily.
First up, is the singles game against compatriot Alison Riske. Riske has performed beyond expectations to get this far. Beating Barty was unexpected and she did well to come back from a set down to win the match. Serena on the other hand, had a much easier time against Caroline Garcia and looks to be on top form with her knee injuries behind her. At 1.255 i think there's value here.
Shortly after, she partners with Andy Murray in mixed doubles and i think the doubles play is helping her net game a lot. The pair looked sharp in their first round game and i think they should have no problems against another unfancied pair. Odds of 1.15 here.
Combined, the odds on Serena day are at 1.45. Fingers crossed!
