Or at least that's what some of the schools here think. Was looking at the preschool options and this is the one from the home country. Here's a snapshot of the application fees. Bear in mind that this is just to apply to the school with no guarantee of admission:
That's a $280 application fee... crazy! I wouldn't mind if it were a refundable fee but to spend $280 or $560, in my case, is nuts. In contrast, the local "international" school near my place had an application fee of $8.
Makes you wonder what sort of administrative process they have that justifies such high fees. But i suppose there'll be at least 20 parents willing to fork out the dough.
