I am already playing Splinterlands, RisingStar and DCity. With a bit of time on my hands till the end of the year, it is time to check out more games on Hive. The two that I just got into are HashKings and DCrops.
Bought a pack and the transaction shows on Hive-Engine but I can't see the pack anywhere in the game. Also, the open pack option is greyed out. Oh well. The game still goes forward.
I rented some land in Afghanistan, bought some water on Hive-Engine and a seed from NFTMart and got to planting. Well, in 5 days, we will see how this one turns out.
I should have read the wiki before I went out and bought the rare piece of land. Turns out the seeds are in cooldown. Also, you got to plant the seeds in the correct season and spring is not the season for watermelons.
So I went and bought some cheap common land and planted some Kale on it. At least I have something growing on my land. I've always wanted to be a watermelon farmer so the summer season is going to be exciting!
I'm still learning about both games and am probably making more mistakes than an optimized investor should or would. Still, it is all good fun! If you have any tips for the game, please do share.
