Привіт! Зовсім дешева й досить поширена монета номіналом 1 бань випадково з'явилася в моїй колекції. Карбувати монети цього номіналу припинили ще у 2017 році. Але, якщо вірити інтернету, то вона й досі перебуває в обігу. Хоча чи користуються ним в обігу насправді, сказати точно не можу. 1 бань при нинішньому курсі складає 2 українські копійки (0.00057 долара США). Тираж монети з алюмінію також не вказаний. Монета важить 0.67 г, а розмір складає 14.5 мм.
Молдавський лей, а бань є розмінною монетою, був введений в обіг з початком зими 1993 року. Виріб має гладкий гурт. Монети не карбувалися щорічно, а з невеликим інтервалом. Так, друга серія вийшла у 1995, потім 1996. Після четвертої серії (2000) емітент випускав монети у 2004, 2006, 2013. А 2017 став останнім роком виготовлення. До речі, всі монети номіналом до 50 бань виготовлені з алюмінію. При цьому окрема серія монет номіналом 50 бань виготовлена зі сталі покритою латунню. Автором монети 1 бань є Костянтин Думітреску, відомий румунський скульптор.
Реверс. Основну частину виробу займає цифра 1 (номінал) та надпис бань. Монограма у вигляді букви М розташована нижче. Вона означає першу літеру назви країни. Рік карбування вказаний горизонтально (по обидва боки від цифри 1).
З лицьової сторони. Тут зображено Герб, а у нижній частині дубові листки. По колу викарбуваний напис Республіка Молдова.

About. A very cheap and fairly common 1 bani coin accidentally appeared in my collection. The minting of coins of this denomination stopped back in 2017. But according to the Internet, it is still in circulation. Although I cannot say for sure whether it is actually used in circulation. At the current exchange rate, 1 ban is 2 Ukrainian kopiykas (0.00057 US dollars). The mintage of the aluminum coin is also not specified. The coin weighs 0.67 grams and measures 14.5 mm.
The Moldovan leu, which is a banknote, was introduced into circulation in early winter 1993. The product has a smooth band. The coins were not minted annually, but at short intervals. Thus, the second series was released in 1995, then 1996. After the fourth series (2000), the issuer produced coins in 2004, 2006, and 2013. And 2017 was the last year of production. By the way, all coins with a denomination of up to 50 bani are made of aluminum. At the same time, a separate series of 50 baht coins is made of brass-plated steel. The author of the 1 bani coin is Constantin Dumitrescu, a famous Romanian sculptor.
Reverse. The main part of the product is occupied by the number 1 (face value) and the inscription bani. The monogram in the form of the letter M is located below. It stands for the first letter of the country's name. The year of minting is indicated horizontally (on both sides of the number 1).
On the front side. The Coat of Arms is depicted here, with oak leaves in the lower part. The inscription Republic of Moldova is minted in a circle.
