On my last visit to the supermarket, I had bought some beans, such as lentils, peas and black beans, and I also bought, out of curiosity, soja beans. I remembered that my mother used to turn them into milk, after a long but simple process. The day came to prepare the soya bean milk, as it was a challenge for me to taste that flavour again, but made by me. Thanks to the Amazing Drinks community for allowing me to publish this kind of drinks. Go ahead so that you know and if you replicate, you can try this Soya Bean Milk.

image.png

Step 1

For this step by step, only the soya beans and one and a half litres of water are the ingredients.
First and very important step. Soak the beans overnight. So that they become soft and can be easily liquefied.

imageedit_87_7353892512.png

2nd step.

Strain the soaked seeds and wash them very well. With a lot of patience, remove the husk from each seed. The good thing is that when they are well soaked, they come out easily, just by squeezing them, as you can see in the picture above.

image.png

3rd step

After washing, blend the beans well with the reserved water.

image.png

4th step

Once blended, strain the contents through a fine sieve.

Step 5

Pour the liquefied contents into a saucepan, and bring to the boil. Take care not to spill. Skim off the foam as it cooks.

image.png

6th step

When it is ready, it is taken to rest and then to the straining process again. But this time it will be strained with a gauze type cloth or another clean cloth that can be used for this purpose.

image.png

7th step

Place the liquid inside the cloth or sack and milk as if it were the cow's udder. Do this with a lot of patience, as this is a slow process.

Final Result

Finally, we got our long-awaited "Soya Milk". As we can see, it is a simple process, but not a quick one. With soya milk, you can prepare many different dishes. You just have to experiment. Greetings and love to all who visited my publication.
