The ArtScience Museum is one of the iconic building in Singapore along the Marina Bay waterfront. This lotus-inspired is a living, breathing embodiment of ArtScience theme. It was designed by renowned architect Moshie Safdie and has been baptized as “The Welcoming Hand of Singapore” by Mr Sheldon Adelson, the visionary chairman of Las Vegas Corp.

The lotus-like building has actually ten (10) petals or "fingers" anchored by a unique round base in the middle – channels rainwater through the central atrium of the building. The rainwater will then be recycled for the building use.
