Football would always be many things but then it would also and always be open to shocks and changes too. Analysing the performances and the results of the semi final matches, I've come to realize that it's very easy for a good team to lose confidence and fall apart and I think that's a thing is gradually happening to Chelsea at the moment.
I am not practically saying this because Chelsea lost to Brentford and then Real Madrid in the UCL but for about a month now, it has been showing that the is gradually losing something, though they were winning then and it wasn't really obvious and to some extent, I think having it escalated at the moment could also be tied somehow to the current situation of the club's owner or isn't that a point?
Reflecting on the match last night, I've been seeing so many comments on how great and commendable Benzema was, and I said something about a week ago after the El Clasico match that if only Benzema was available, the result of that match could have favoured Madrid but ma y people wouldn't agree with me.
Benzema scored two massive headers last night and for me, It was just like watching CR7 at Real Madrid. Yes, Benzema is over 30 but he's definitely not done yet. Just like I have Kane and Son as my best duo in the EPL, Benzema and Vinicius have beginning to build this strong pitch chemistry that could last for as long as the two players stay off injury.
From the onset, I had no doubt about Real Madrid winning, maybe not in the manner they did, but I was sure within myself they would, and having 3 aways goals, I'm still wondering the magic Chelsea would do while visiting Spain.
This shouldn't be something I should forget......

That mistake was definitely not something to be overlooked, I can't imagine what he was thinking playing such a blind confidence role while his team was even losing the match already.
Villareal vs Bayern Munich was my greatest shock last night, I could have bet on it that Munich was going to have an easy win but then, it was really a big shock for me.
I feel it's normal to think that after the early goal from Danjuma for Villareal, Munich would definitely bounce back but I've come to study something about just Villareal and Atletico Madrid, though these are big teams but whenever it comes to playing a big game, they always then to play like an underdog.
They tend to defend most of the time and then lunch heavy counter attacks whenever they've got the chance too. To my surprise yesterday, maybe it was because of the early goal, Villareal actually came out to some extent to play full filed with Munich and that I feel was one of the reasons why it was difficult for Munich easily get goals.
Another thing I have come to discover is that in the the European football space at the moment, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are just the opposite of Atletico Madrid and Villareal and it would be a very wrong thing for either Atletico Madrid or Villareal to play defensive against the other two teams, I could boldly say that that was what made Atletico lose at Etihad. That's definitely another story that I'll be sharing my view on soon.
Is Real Madrid making it to the semi finals? Definitely! But for Bayern Munich, all I can say now is that I'm sure they'll be offensive in the returning leg. Hoping Villareal makes the mistake of playing defensively like they did against Manchester United in the previous UEL final, and they'll be as good as crying back to Spain.
