Greetings, my friends at @weekendexperiences I haven't participated in the engagements for a while due to serious problems with electricity and internet connection. Things haven't improved much, but I'm looking for ways to adjust.

As always, @galenkp suggests topics that make me reflect on my life, so I'm going to address this one:

Are you happy with yourself or not? Explain with examples and how you could improve.

I'm a senior citizen, and I've lived long enough to shape who I am. Therefore, I'm definitely satisfied with who I've become.

I was born and raised in a family that gave me a lot of love and taught me important values like honesty, gratitude, and empathy.

I learned that things don't fall from the sky; you have to fight for them, which involves work and sacrifice. Even so, you can't have everything you want, and that's not the end of the world.

Throughout my life, I've cultivated valuable friendships, many of them from childhood and adolescence.

I studied and worked in fields that have brought me satisfaction and personal benefits. Given my circumstances, I don't have everything I deserve for my work, but that's another story.

I'm grateful for what I have and I enjoy it, especially my family. I had the immense satisfaction of giving my parents all the love and care they needed until the end of their days. They proudly watched their grandchildren and children grow up to be good people.

My children are the greatest work of my life, my greatest reward and greatest satisfaction.

I feel very fortunate to have my children, their adoptive father, and my faithful partner through countless battles and shared successes. We remain united and continue to experience all the facets of love.

I am happy to know how to give and receive love from my family, friends, and everyone around me.

Although I'm generally satisfied with who I am, as long as we have the capacity for reason, we should always strive to be better because we obviously don't always act correctly, and we must correct our mistakes without shame or fear.

I confess that I would have liked to be faster, haha, but oh well, things take time to do them well and the way I want them to.

Also, although I've learned, I find it very difficult to say no and to think that people might act in bad faith.

The good thing is that when that happens, it doesn't hurt as much anymore, and I can accept it.
