Waking up early actually paid off. First thing in the morning, I packed up my gear and demolished the old starter camp at the forest entrance. There was no point in keeping a base that far from where the actual action is, so I loaded up my inventory and headed deeper into the Unknown Forest. Survival out here is all about optimization, and cutting down travel times is the first step toward efficiency.

Of course, the local fauna wouldn't let me move in peace. Not long into my trek, I ran into another one of those annoying bipedal aquatic monsters. After a brief and expected fight to clear the path, I kept exploring the deeper layers of the zone. To my surprise, I stumbled upon a food merchant. Aside from selling rations to keep my hunger meter in check, this guy also traded useful resources, which will definitely come in handy for future crafting.

Once the exploration run was done for the day, I focused entirely on setting up the new camp in a much more strategic, centralized location. I rebuilt the fire pit to keep the nighttime threats at bay and even took the trouble to build a foundry. I needed to check what kind of metals and gear I could process with my current materials before moving forward.

To close out the day, I ate a quick meal and went to sleep under proper shelter this time. The logistics are finally sorted out, and the base is operational. Now that I have a decent roof and a working foundry, my next clear goal will be to locate the new dungeon hidden in this area and see what kind of loot—or trouble—is waiting inside.

Despertar temprano por fin dio sus frutos. A primera hora de la mañana, recogí mis cosas y demolí el viejo campamento inicial que tenía en la entrada del bosque. No tenía sentido mantener una base tan lejos de donde ocurre la verdadera acción, así que llené mi inventario y me adentré mucho más en el Bosque Extraño. La supervivencia aquí se trata de optimización, y reducir los tiempos de viaje es el primer paso hacia la eficiencia.

Por supuesto, la fauna local no me iba a dejar mudarme en paz. No tardé mucho en toparme con otro de esos molestos monstruos acuáticos bípedos. Tras una breve y esperada pelea para despejar el camino, seguí exploring las capas más profundas de la zona. Para mi sorpresa, me topé con un mercader de comida. Además de vender raciones para mantener a raya la barra de hambre, el tipo también intercambiaba recursos útiles, lo que definitivamente vendrá bien para futuros crafteos.

Una vez terminada la ronda de exploración del día, me enfrente por completo en establecer el nuevo campamento en una ubicación mucho más estratégica y centralizada. Construí nuevamente el foso de fuego para mantener a raya las amenazas nocturnas e incluso me tomé la molestia de levantar una fundición. Necesitaba revisar qué tipo de metales y equipo podía procesar con mis materiales actuales antes de seguir avanzando.

Para cerrar el día, comí algo rápido y me fui a dormir, esta vez bajo un refugio decente. La logística por fin está resuelta y la base es operativa. Ahora que tengo un techo cómodo y una fundición funcional, mi próxima meta clara será localizar la nueva mazmorra oculta en esta área para ver qué tipo de loot —o de problemas— me está esperando dentro.
