My feeling is that AI will provide efficiency to all sectors of business. It is already.

Just like the airline passenger that does not think about the aluminium industry yet feeds it through ticket purchases, so to will the common citizen be unlikely aware of AI working behind the scenes on such things as decisions made by their health care provider, targetting used in military conflicts, deciding which resume will get the applicant an interview, etc..

It will simply become part of the infrastructure to most people, in my opinion.
