Those of us who play this know that it is a board game that consisted of buying and selling real estate, with the aim of forming a monopoly, owning all the real estate properties that appear in the game. Players move their chips in turns clockwise around a board, based on the dice score, and fall into properties they can buy from an imaginary bank, or let the bank auction them off if they are not bought. If the properties they land on already have owners, the other players must pay to pass through that property or whoever falls will be able to buy them.
It was a game we enjoyed, I remember that we loved to earn money with the rents, because there were tickets that looked like real tickets, buy houses, hotels, feel like you own many properties, but something if we didn't like it, it was to fall in jail, because being there we lost money. These are games that educate financially.
How ironic, who would say that this game was the reality that we had to play as adults, but the years went by and we forgot. In my mind I remember that it's the only financial thing I played and maybe we didn't take it as something essential in life, and we downplayed it, maybe because we thought that in school we were going to learn what we needed to develop in society.
I refer to this game because perhaps if in the Traditional Education System, they had taught it as a learning for our financial education, many would be oriented towards the success of their lives. Sometimes I have come to think that Traditional Education and Financial Education are contrary, the ideal being that the latter be immersed in the former. But the reality is different, ask yourself how many years do we spend in preschool, primary, secondary and university? It's about 18 or 20 years of study, not including specialties. The question is not just the time we spend studying, but the curriculum that is applied.
The education system we have is obsolete, they still teach children things that are out of base and not useful for their performances in life. There are boys who graduate and go out with their university degrees and go with their degrees as direct zoombies to work for a company or a public institution, where they believe their lives will be solved. They are only trained or educated to work for someone else, school and university is like a slave factory, students lack financial education, so they only think about graduating to work. I remember when I was given accounts, always the exercises were based on making the entries and keeping the accounting books of a certain company, never told us "when you have your company", always based on the companies of others. Therefore, many accountants end up taking the accounting to others, or Administrators to manage a third party's company. Professionals come out with a single vision and it is to get a job, imagine even prayers exist to get a job.
Perhaps if they had recommended reading a simple book like "The Richest Man in Babylon," they would have learned about Investment. At the university we sometimes learn subjects, classes, concepts and definitions that we never managed to use, but which were essential for obtaining the degree. By telling them that we don't even come out prepared to pursue our career, but that we must submit ourselves to the grievances of others when we are learning, apart from the fact that you realize that what you have learned is not even a quarter of what is done in practice.
I believe that education should be based on preparing us for big things, not small things, that's why many end up settling down and staying in work for years to obtain a retirement, which used to work, but nowadays a salary no longer satisfies basic needs, nor that they work 24 x 24, because even if they do postgraduate studies, it is enough for them to buy a house, a car, or pay for a good market. So, many people who have not received a financial education don't know what to do, they feel lost, the work is the only thing they know for sure, they are afraid to start something different and when they talk about investing, about receiving a different education, about technological innovation, they are afraid to start something different and when they talk about investing, about receiving a different education, about technological innovation, it causes them to short-circuit, because they were not designed for that. To many of us who explained to them about steemit they would not believe, it is more I bet they would laugh or perhaps want the results to be immediately and surrender, or just ignore us, it's put you in for questioning. Is that safe? knowing that their jobs are no longer safe and they've lost their economic and employment stability.
I spent 20 years educating myself, I have 2 professions and I felt disappointed, because I believed that with a good job I would have resolved my life, I gave 23 years of my best years to a public institution. Five years ago, however, I felt anxious because I was unsatisfied with my results, I wanted even more, which is why my desire to learn and educate myself in the financial area and I wanted to discover the secret or the formula of the rich, I was so curious that I began to read books about men who were millionaires and I never read that their subjects of conversation were about the hypotenuse, about square root and all those things that we had. One book that struck me was Robert Kiyosaki's * "Poor Father, Rich Father" *, where I was able to realize the reality of the educational system and the paradigms we have in our family for years after years, I also discovered that I never had a financial education that if we received it from an early age, we would all develop the intelligence to do great business. So, in my remote memory I said to myself, if I received it, but as a game... Monopoly, if I had applied it well, but it is never too late.
Although it is worth mentioning that many people without going to universities had that financial intelligence, to go after their ideals and dreams, that's why they became millionaires without going to college, because for them studies did not give them the guarantee of success. Below is a list of the top 10 millionaires who left college.
• 1 - Steve Jobs.
• 2 - Bill Gates.
• 3 - Larry Ellison.
• 4 - Michael Dell.
• 5 - Walt Disney.
• 6 - Mark Zuckerberg.
• 7 - Sheldon Adelson.
• 8 - Roman Abramovich.
• 9 - Ralph Lauren.
• 10- Sir Richard Brason.

I am not against education, but it is clear that Traditional Education must change, based on contents on the financial area, in constant practice and current technology, not that of 10 years ago.
Monopoly may not be known to many young people the way I knew it, although through technology they have adapted it to play it online or through their mobile phones, but if you don't know it you can watch it in mini-games. It's true, having virtual investments, but there is nothing better than investing in real estate, you should always look for these properties to generate a constant income.
