I saw "Valerian" this weekend. It was visually stunning, and I always enjoy seeing Cara D. and Rihanna. They are certainly beautiful ladies. However, to me at least, the money was spent on visual esthetics and not the script. There were scenes that seemed to come directly from Star Wars, Blade Runner and The Fifth Element. If I had been high, I probably would have enjoyed it more seeing as how the movie is so visually interesting. However, I wasn't. If you are going to see it, I recommend some sort of refreshment before you go.
