Just watched Trainspotting 2. As a movie it's watchable. However, in no way does it compete with the original. I watched the original last month to get ready for #2. Much more intense and edgy. Made me feel excited and like I needed a shower at the same time. Not so much with the second attempt. As I said, a decent movie, but nothing iconic about it to me. Of course I've aged 21 years as well and age may add to the likability of wine, but I'm definitely much slower and much less edgy. More like rounded.
