Los días para la Banda cada vez pasaban más rápido y ahora Madrid, ya no era una simple idea, sino un proyecto dentro de poco y por eso cada ensayo, cada acorde y cada decisión que tomaban era muy importante. Además, también estaba presente el festival, por eso la Banda no tenía descanso y el lugar donde estaban ensayando estaban llenas de cables, botellas, instrumentos y una pizarra que decía: MADRID.
Michelle miraba todo y añadió —Tenemos que terminar esta canción hoy— Tomás no se quedó en silencio y respondió —Seguimos tocando como cuatro personas diferentes— en ese momento todo se miraron como si estuviera a punto de iniciar una discusión, Lucas añadió —Esto es exactamente lo que dijo el productor, no sabemos trabajar juntos— Michelle se quedó sorprendida cuando escucho esas palabras, ya que ahora todo usan al director.
The days were flying by for the band; Madrid was no longer just an abstract idea but an imminent project, making every rehearsal, every chord, and every decision crucial. On top of that, the upcoming festival meant there was no time to rest, and their rehearsal space was cluttered with cables, bottles, instruments, and a whiteboard that simply read: MADRID.
Michelle surveyed the scene and said, "We have to finish this song today." Tomás didn't hold back, replying, "We still sound like four different people." They all exchanged glances, as if an argument were about to break out, and Lucas added, "This is exactly what the producer said—we don't know how to work together." Michelle was taken aback by those words, given that everyone was now deferring to the director.
Luego de unos segundos la puerta del estudio se abrió y entró el nuevo productor quien nada más los observó sin decir nada y al terminar de que la Banda terminara de hablar el productor habló —Ese es precisamente el problema, durante semanas han estado hablando de Madrid, del festival, de las canciones, de lo que quieren conseguir, sin embargo, cada vez que algo no funciona, discuten— los cuatro se miraron sin decir absolutamente nada. El productor seguirá hablando, dando órdenes porque en vez de discutir de cosas innecesarias, porque no discuten sobre música, porque tienen un tema pendiente por hacer.
Así que La banda tomó sus instrumentos y comenzaron a tocar donde la primera vez con el nuevo productor fue todo un desastre, por eso Michelle modificó una parte de la melodía, Lucas redujo la batería y por primera vez luego de días la canción fue cambiando, logrando así que la Banda funcionara en varios días. Michelle miró al productor y dijo —¿Eso era lo que quería?— con eso el productor afirmó y allí él tensión de la Banda se fue bajando y durante las próximas horas la Banda tenía que terminar, ya que había un festival por ir.
After a few seconds, the studio door opened and the new producer walked in; he simply observed them without saying a word. Once the band finished speaking, the producer addressed them: "That is precisely the problem. For weeks, you’ve been talking about Madrid, the festival, the songs, and what you want to achieve; yet, whenever something doesn't work, you argue." The four of them exchanged glances, remaining completely silent. The producer continued, issuing instructions: instead of arguing about trivial matters, they should be discussing the music—after all, they had unfinished business to attend to.
So, the band picked up their instruments and began to play. Their first attempt with the new producer had been a disaster, so Michelle tweaked part of the melody and Lucas scaled back the drums. For the first time in days, the song began to evolve, and the band finally found their groove. Michelle looked at the producer and asked, "Is that what you wanted?" He nodded in agreement; the tension within the band began to dissipate, and they spent the next few hours finishing the track—after all, they had a festival to get to.
