Do you have any lovely sweets in your memories?
Every time I go to the department store, I usually walk past a Japanese sweet shop. That shop is decorated in a traditional Japanese style, but I have never had an opportunity to stop by. Today I decided to visit and look around for some interesting goods. I like the design and decoration. It felt like a kid again looking at all the sweets and snacks because they have many of the same ones in Thailand.
The shop is called Ichi Chome Ichi Banchi, and has more than 200 types of sweets and snacks. Prices start at 30 yen. Wow, that's very cheap! I found some sweets that I used to eat when I was young. It looks like a cigarette but it is gum. I also found some old fashion toys.
The packaging has changed for some of the sweets since I was a kid.
This shop is good for people of all ages. If you are visiting Japan and looking for a small souvenir, I recommend it.
