Hello everyone,

Recently, I took my customers sightseeing in Nara, AKA deer city. There are many deer walking in the park and sometimes they cross the road. This time I tasted Japanese sweets called “Daifuku” or “Daifuku mochi”

Source

Daifuku is a Japanese confection that commonly consists of red beans and covered in rice cake (mochi). Daifuku mochi comes in many varieties filled with seasonal fruits or chocolate or green tea.

Now it is strawberry season so you see many sweet shops using strawberries as ingredients to make sweets. Daifuku mochi has them too.

Look at the package!! So cute!!
The cost is 230 yen/piece.

Manshodo Shop is located in the Nara Higashimuki shopping street near Kintetsu Nara Station about 2 minutes on foot. The Strawberry Daifuku mochi is the most popular in the shop. If you go to Nara, don’t miss trying it.
