I eliminated the last guard, took a Leap of Faith down, and accidentally called my mount instead of whistling. Still, I lured a guard into the hay, freed a civilian, and wiped out the remaining bandits. Finally, I explored a hidden cave, found the Carbon Crystal, and earned 600 XP.
I noticed only one guard left in the immediate area, so I set up a quiet air assassination and dropped him without making a single sound.
With the lookout point completely clear, I stepped up to the edge, picked my landing, and executed a clean Leap of Faith down to the ground below.
I intended to whistle to draw the next guard closer. Instead, my fingers slipped, and I hit the button to call my mount. Luckily for me, the nearby guard still heard the noise and walked right over to investigate.
As soon as he stepped close enough to my hiding spot, I reached out, drove my blade home, and dragged his body straight into the hay cart to keep things hidden.
Moving further into the camp, I spotted another bandit sitting down and enjoying his meal. I did not want to interrupt his dinner for too long, so I crept up behind him in the shadows and took him out quickly with my hidden blade.
With the main perimeter cleared, I turned my attention to a captive civilian trapped nearby. I stepped up and cut him free, but instead of staying quiet, he immediately bolted toward the remaining bandits. That was the one thing I hoped would not happen.
One of the guards spotted me during the chaos, but I moved fast and took him down before he could raise a weapon. Two more bandits rushed over to attack the fleeing prisoner, so I stepped into their path and eliminated both of them in quick succession before they could land a single hit.
With all the guards dead and the captive safe, it was time to find the hidden treasure. I searched the surrounding area until I spotted a small, concealed cave entrance. I squeezed inside, picked up coins and useful craft supplies scattered around the cave.
At first, I walked right past the main chamber and ended up circling back out through a side tunnel. Realizing I missed the prize, I turned right back around and headed back into the darkness to search the cavern more carefully.
Deep inside the back room, I finally spotted a small wooden chest sitting on a ledge. I popped the lock open and pulled out a rare Carbon Crystal. Collecting it officially completed the location objectives, rewarded me with 600 XP, and gave me everything I needed from this outpost.
With the entire camp cleared out and all the loot secured, I made my way back out into the open daylight, ready to plan my next move across the region.
