Intervening to save an accused boy in Euhemeria, Bayek agreed to locate two lost Golden Sobek statues. After diving to retrieve the first from a recent shipwreck, I stormed a guarded enemy vessel, cleared the crew using stealth and explosive barrels, and recovered the final statue to prove the boy's innocence.
Riding through Euhemeria, I stumbled upon a priest brutally beating a young boy over stolen property.
Intervening immediately, Bayek confronted the priest, who angrily warned him to back off. The boy explained that he had been hired to ferry two Golden Sobek statues, but his boat sank during the journey and the treasures were lost to the lake.
Offering to settle the dispute, Bayek promised to retrieve the gold to prove whether the boy was telling the truth.
I boarded a small boat and headed into the deep waters near Euhemeria's docks. Spotting debris float on the surface, I summoned Senu to scan the surrounding area
I tagged the first target at a underwater wreck site and located the second statue aboard a massive, heavily guarded enemy vessel, a fortress ship I had cleared long ago.
Diving into the lake, I swam down to the fresh shipwreck. Inspecting the submerged hull, Bayek confirmed the find and retrieved the first Golden Sobek before surfacing for air. I then swam toward the restricted enemy vessel to claim the second statue.
Reaching the ship's hull, I spotted a guard leaning over the railing mid-pee. I reached up, executed a ledge assassination, and pulled him into the water before he could finish.
Climbing onto the deck, I surveyed the remaining crew. I stealthily eliminated a guard on the far side of the vessel, but his companion spotted the body and raised the alarm, drawing several soldiers into a direct fight.
During the melee, an archer scrambled up a tower to mount a heavy ballista. Senu dove in to harass the guard, stalling his movement long enough for me to climb the ladder and take him out.
A second archer tried to rush the platform; when the ballista mechanism jammed, I drew my sword and cut him down.
Spotting another clueless guard patrolling below, I dropped down for a quiet assassination.
Only one soldier remained, resting near the lower deck. Rather than engaging directly, I shot a fire arrow into a nearby explosive barrel, and killed the final guard in the blast.
With the vessel cleared, I picked up the second Golden Sobek statue. Confirming the boy's story was true, I prepared to head back to shore to deliver the statues to the priest.
I'll show more of my photographic journey of the games soon, so stay tuned to my blog if you liked them.
