So I must admit, I have very weak hands. Probably the weakest you've ever seen. Being a full-time content creator (or a digital nomad like I call myself), I spend most of what I earn.
My selling habit is totally against my long-term plans to grow my crypto portfolio. However, I have decided to do things differently this year by being more intentional about my finances.
Like I mentioned I sell most of my crypto to cover basic bills daily expenses. Fortunately, things have been great for me these last few months. My earnings have increased and so have my resources of income.
However, there is the temptation to increase expeditions as one's income rises. This is counterintuitive and one of the easiest ways to stay broke.
To counter the urge to sell more I have locked my stake within another contract called delegation, which is simply leasing my stake to another. Think of it as a lock in a lock.
Now it would take more time to initiate a power down. This is because first I would have to undelegated before I can initiate a power down. The whole process will take about 14 days which is enough time to talk myself out of selling.
So I don't only get to support my favorite projects through delegation but also train my weak hands. By the looks of things, it is working (well it has to. Have no other choice).
BEING SOMEONE THAT INVESTS.
I have said before that I never considered my writing, earning, and taking here as an investment for the longest time. It was for me a source of income and not an investment opportunity.
However, my attitude towards hive and its affiliated projects is changing. There is a real potential to grow your network and wealth over time.
We all have different reasons to be here. I am currently redefining mine. I am moving from someone who just makes and spends money, to one that invests.
I currently have three coins in my portfolio valued at $2000+. This could easily turn into $10000 before the year ends. It is exciting to me. This might just be my ticket towards financial freedom.
