Spontaneity – that’s what we have exhibited during that day. We have decided then and there that we want to see the Gentle Giants of the Sea or commonly known as Whale Sharks.

Packed a day worth of supplies then off we go to the Cebu South Bus terminal. After 3 hours of travelling with my friends, we reached the town of Oslob. And what a beautiful town it is. Tourists are just milling around walking alongside the road with their swimwear’s on as early as 6 in the morning.

We reached the resort where we rented lockers to keep our things safe. Paid the necessary fees and off we go to meet the Giants.

There is a queue before the meet and greet time 😊

Finally!

It was really scary at first. These giants are as big as a bus and has a mouth so big it can easily eat you up. Good thing they don’t humans. Haha.

We really tried our best to get good pictures. But it is just so hard to pose without getting frightened first.

The feeling was just indescribable. All those hours travelling, the sweat, the cold, it was all worth it.

I hope that you can all visit Oslob and experience the beauty of nature.

Much Love,
Noey
