Hello dear friends of Hive! I just finished practicing in Photoshop, I would like to share with you what I was doing, who knows? It could be useful for some of you 👈🏻😎👈🏻, I was doing more difficult cuts like trimming a tree, in my opinion trimming is like an art in this program, then I started to do another detail that would be changing the sky and matching the tones 🤔 As I saw that the result was nice, I thought to share this knowledge, trimming is something I usually do daily but it's the first time I've changed the sky, I only knew the theory before 👀 so I hope you like today's blog!
When we have our image open, we go in the same panel to where it says "channels", we click and drag the blue channel down and copy it.
We press CTRL + L, so we will open the "levels" window, we have to adjust everything as much as we can, for example, the sky totally white and the tree together with the grass totally black, so we can later make an exact selection.
Once we have the level settings, we go to our duplicate layer of blue and do CTRL + Click and so a selection will be made, then we press Shift + Ctrl + I and an inverse selection will be made, In this case, they can simply go up and click on "Select" and click on "Invert", now we must stop being in "Channels" and we return to "Layers" and create a clipping mask.
Now you will see that we have made our cut, but it could present small details such as in this case the grass has been cut, if you look closely, you will notice small holes, you just have to go to erase, put it in black (you can change quickly in X), and we will make the grass reappear in the clipping mask.
Now comes the other part, when I inserted a different sky and matched the tones
I went to "edit" and selected "Sky Replacement", then there comes a new window that a variety of skies and their respective settings.
In this image, I wanted to use a sky with a sunset, between the adjustments, you can see that I made the image not disappear around the edges, I also made the image go deeper into the tree so that they look more united, don't worry if you notice that there may be edges on the tree that look poorly trimmed or appear to have some defect, since if you look at the screenshot, it seems that some branches do not look good, but that can be fixed, so there is no need to worry.
To match the colors, I just went to the panel and searched for "Color Lookup".
I looked for the effect of "Latesunset" since it blends with the sky that I chose, I later lowered the opacity to about 85%.
As I told you a moment ago, the branches that didn't mix, even some grass that didn't mix with the image either, We go back to our clipping mask, we use the black erase and we pass in the parts that look strange, so they will reappear well and the editing will be quite natural.
Here is the final image result:
As you can see, that was all I did, I was surprised how quickly I did it, as I said it is the first time I have made a sky change (as I write this, there are some horrible winds blowing outside, it scares me 😅, sounds pretty spooky 😰), anyway, this time was quite productive, I admit that I feel like trying more difficult things 👀.

¡Hola queridos amigos de Hive! Acabo de terminar de practicar en Photoshop, me gustaría compartir con ustedes lo que estaba haciendo, ¿quién sabe? Podría ser útil para algunos de ustedes 👈🏻😎👈🏻, estaba haciendo recortes más difíciles como el recortar un árbol, en mi opinión el recorte es como un arte en este programa, luego comencé a hacer otro detalle que sería cambiar el cielo y emparejar los tonos 🤔 como vi que el resultado fue lindo, pensé en compartir este conocimiento, el recorte es algo que suelo hacer a diario pero es la primera vez que cambio el cielo, solo sabía la teoría antes 👀 así que ¡espero les guste el blog de hoy!
Aquí en la parte en español, quiero recordar que uso Photoshop en inglés, así que suelo decir que digo los nombres de los botones lo más aproximado al español.
Esta primera parte es de cuando recorté la imagen
Cuando tengamos nuestra imagen abierta, vamos en el mismo panel a donde dice "Canales", hacemos clic y arrastramos el canal azul hacia abajo y lo copiamos.
Presionamos CTRL + L, por lo que nos abrirá la ventana de "niveles", tenemos que ajustar todo lo más que podamos, por ejemplo, el cielo totalmente blanco y el árbol junto con el césped totalmente negro, para luego poder hacer una selección exacta.
Una vez que tenemos la configuración de nivel, vamos a nuestra capa duplicada de azul y hacemos CTRL + Clic y así se hará una selección, luego presionamos Shift + Ctrl + I y se hará una selección inversa, en este caso, simplemente podemos subir y hacer clic en "Seleccionar" y hacer clic en "Invertir", ahora debemos dejar de estar en "Canales" y regresamos a "Capas" y creamos una máscara de recorte.
Ahora verán que hemos hecho nuestro recorte, pero podría presentar pequeños detalles, como en este caso que es el pasto ha sido cortado, si te fijas notarás pequeños agujeros, solo tienes que ir a la borra, ponerlo en negro (puedes cambiar rápidamente en X), y haremos que la hierba vuelva a aparecer en la máscara de recorte.
Ahora viene la otra parte, cuando inserté un cielo diferente y combiné los tonos
Fui a "editar" y seleccioné "Reemplazo de cielo", luego nos aparece una nueva ventana que muestra una variedad de cielos y sus respectivas configuraciones.
En esta imagen quise usar un cielo con un atardecer, entre los ajustes se nota que hice que la imagen no desapareciera por los bordes, también hice que la imagen se adentrara más en el árbol para que se vean más unidos, no se preocupen si notan que puede haber bordes en el árbol que se ven mal recortados o parecen tener algún defecto, ya que si miras la captura de pantalla, parece que algunas ramas no se ven bien, pero eso se puede arreglar, así que no hay necesidad de preocuparse.
Para hacer coincidir los colores, simplemente fui al panel y busqué "Búsqueda de colores".
Busqué el efecto de "Latesunset" ya que se funde con el cielo que elegí, luego bajé la opacidad a un 85% aproximadamente.
Como les dije hace un momento, las ramas que no se mezclaban, incluso alguna hierba que tampoco se mezclaba con la imagen, volvemos a nuestra máscara de recorte, usamos el borrador en negro y pasamos en las partes que parezcan extraños, por lo que reaparecerán bien y la edición se verá bastante natural.

Como pueden ver, eso fue todo lo que hice, me sorprendió lo rápido que lo hice, como dije, es la primera vez que hago un cambio de cielo (mientras escribo esto, hay unos vientos horribles soplando afuera, eso me da miedo 😅, suena bastante espeluznante 😰), en fin, este rato fue bastante productivo, reconozco que tengo ganas de intentar cosas más difíciles 👀.
