I just got my Venus Optics Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra Macro lens in the mail so of course, I have to play with it right away. The first thing I have done is photograph a leaf at 5x. I really want to start playing with the abstract in photography and this lens is going to be a great tool for this. this photo was a stack of 137 photos in just 5um increments. The total movement was just over 1mm. It is a crazy shallow depth of field so focus stacking is going to be a must in most situations.
