Good morning and happy start of the week to all, I hope you are all well and enjoying the chaotic but beautiful journey of our life as parents.
Going out with both girls has become one of the most challenging activities for me because each one goes in opposite direction while one wants to play the other wants to sit and eat the good thing is that I can always manage it, finding a place that they like and also can do both is another aspect that worries me sometimes, I like to take them to parks with some homemade food by me but these are at the other end of my city and the drive is long, so this weekend I wanted to explore a different option because it is not good for them to stay at home too long without going out either.
The other day we were taking my sister to work and Alys saw the park that has a McDonald's near the house and told me she wanted to visit it but referring to the playground, being honest I had never brought them to one, they only ate ice cream at another one that is in a mall we frequent and is only set up to eat desserts, so I saw it was time for both to know it and so each one could do what they like and enjoy a lot.
We arrived at McDonald's, what was an outing just for the girls became one for me too, I went back to my childhood to when my parents used to bring me, so I ordered a happy box for me too or snack better said because to fill up I need like three, to the girls I ordered them with chicken nuggets, also ice cream for after they played and ate.
While we waited immediately Alys went to play in the park, Abby stayed with me at the table while I watched her sister having fun, in about 15 minutes or so our order was ready for the happy boxes that also came with some pets to adopt that they bring as toys and can be decorated with some stickers, plus a qr code to play with each animal in an application.
Alys didn't want to leave the play area but she was quite excited with the toy more than the food and Abby with the food because she enjoyed the nuggets and fries, I went back to my childhood with the taste of the hamburger, the vanilla ice cream was creamy and her cookie cone was quite crunchy, Abby filled her hair, forehead and cheeks with ice cream you can imagine how much she liked it and I love to see her enjoy it.
Then they both played in the playground, Abby could not climb higher because the park is not designed for such small children but still played for a while, when I left I realized that we spent almost three hours at McDonald's, now Alys asks when we will go again imagine how much she loved being there, the best and most important thing is that I found the best place for both of them and they could not only eat but also recreate which is also a fundamental part of having healthy and happy girls.
This is all my experience in one afternoon of my motherhood, happy day to all.

Buenos días y feliz inicio de semana para todos, espero se encuentren muy bien y disfrutando del camino caótico pero hermoso de nuestra vida de padres.
Salir con ambas niñas se ha vuelto una de las actividades más retadoras para mi porque cada una va en sentido contrario mientras una quiere jugar la otra quiere quedarse sentada y comer lo bueno es que siempre puedo manejarlo, encontrar un lugar que les guste y además se pueda hacer ambas es otro de los aspectos que me inquieta algunas veces, me gusta llevarlas a parques con alguna comida hecha en casa por mí pero estos quedan al otro extremo de mi ciudad y el trayecto es largo, así que este fin de semana quise explorar una opción diferente porque tampoco es bueno para ellas quedarse en casa mucho tiempo sin salir.
El otro día llevábamos al trabajo a mi hermana y Alys vio el parque que tiene un McDonald's cerca de la casa y me dijo que quería visitarlo pero haciendo referencia al área de juegos, siendo sincera nunca las había traído a uno, solamente comían helado en otro que se encuentra en un centro comercial que frecuentamos y solo está dispuesto para comer postres, así que vi que era el momento para que ambas lo conocieran y así cada una pudiese hacer lo que le gusta y disfrutar un montón.
Llegamos al McDonald's, lo que era una salida solo por las niñas se volvió una para mi también, regresé a mi infancia a cuando mis padres me traían, así que me pedí una cajita feliz para mi también o merienda mejor dicho porque para llenarme necesito como tres, a las niñas les ordené con nuggets de pollo, también helados para después de que jugarán y comieran.
Mientras esperábamos de inmediato Alys fue a jugar en el parque, Abby se quedó conmigo en la mesa mientras yo miraba a su hermana divirtiéndose, en unos 15 minutos aproximadamente estuvo listo nuestro pedido de las cajitas felices que también venía acompañados por unas mascotas para adoptarlas que traen como juguete y que pueden decorarse con algunas calcomanías, además de un código qr para jugar con cada animalito en una aplicación.
Alys no quería salirse del área de juegos pero estuvo bastante emocionada con el juguete más que con la comida y Abby con la comida porque degusto con mucha alegría los nuggets y papas fritas, yo volví a mi infancia con el sabor de la hamburguesa, el helado de vainilla estaba cremoso y su cono de galleta bastante crujiente, Abby se lleno el cabello, la frente y los cachetes de helado pueden imaginarse lo mucho que le gusto y amo verla como disfruta.
Luego jugaron ambas en el área de juegos, Abby no podía escalar más arriba porque el parque no está diseñado para niños tan pequeños pero igual jugo un rato, al salir me percaté que estuvimos casi tres horas en McDonald's, ahora Alys pregunta cuando iremos otra vez imagínense lo mucho que le encanto estar ahí, lo mejor y más importante es que encontré el mejor lugar para las dos y que pudieron no solo comer sino también recrearse que es parte también fundamental de tener niñas sanas y felices.
Está es toda mi experiencia en una tarde de mi maternidad, feliz día para todos.
