Good morning lucky mothers and fathers! Always wishing you and your little ones abundant health.
They grow up so fast! My relatives used to say, enjoy them a lot because their growth is fast and you will notice the clothes they will leave behind, live every morning of wakefulness because you will miss even that.
I still remember when they were in my tummy taking care of them daily without forgetting every capsule of the multivitamin supplement, with my older daughter I was in rest the first months because the placenta was low and with my younger daughter I had to drink a lot of coconut water to increase the production of amniotic fluid because it was lowering the ideal amount that she should have during her gestation, but following every recommendation to the letter both are with me.
After their birth, today I must tell you that yes, it is totally true, my daughters grew up so fast that I didn't even notice the time that passed, because I was living them, enjoying every diaper change, giving them the breast or their bottle, taking out their gas so they would have a good digestion, watching their dreams and their breathing for the first time, watching over their dreams and their breathing at night, wrapping their little bodies because for some reason babies like to move their legs a lot to sleep uncovered and not to mention how brave I was to hear the cry of their first vaccination and heel test.
Then their induction to solids or complementary feeding although you know that before that at least once they touched our food because they have the fastest hands in the world to take something, I was desperate to see them crawl and then they mastered it perfectly to then stand up and take their first steps and while all this was happening in their mouth was erupting their first tooth and breastfeeding became a bit painful because they bit a little to explore.
Also comes to mind the first word for both of them which was "mama" I currently have a parrot that talks below her elbows and a baby that doesn't like to talk much but I am stimulating her a lot to expand the words in her lexicon and communicate better with the rest.
Between birthdays, Christmas, pediatrician visits, vaccinations, drawing afternoons, games in the park, marathons in the backyard and explorations in every place where they came, my oldest daughter left the diaper and my little one is still in the process of identifying "pee-pee" and "pupu" apart from the transition from diaper to underwear is a bit difficult, but we are slowly adapting to the change.
Alys has been going to school for two years now, I remember how anxious she was the day I left her at her school for the first time and I was surprised that she didn't even cry, she just said: Goodbye mommy and daddy! And this will be her last year of preschool so we are close to graduating from early childhood education, and next year we will start again in the preschool classrooms but with my little Abby.
There are still many moments to live next to each one of them, this time is only 5 years of my motherhood summarized in a publication, in this period I accompanied them living their first times: their first vaccine, their first time eating, their first word, their first time walking, their first tooth and their first day of school, always holding my hand and giving them all my love, although there are moments that mom also has to assume with courage, patience and attention.
These lines came to me, while I was taking out the clothes that no longer fit my baby, who is now inheriting some pieces from her older sister, remembering that they grow so fast that we don't even realize it.
Happy day to all, hugs and kisses!

¡Besos y abrazos!
