My Maracaibo is beautiful, but it looks even better during the Christmas nights, it is impossible not to be captivated with each of the decorations or lights at this time, the girls love to see them and I feel like I go back to my childhood when I'm in every place, the magic of Christmas can be felt in every corner and has a special glow full of colors that characterize us as Marabinos and excite us as if it were the first time.
The Plaza El Angel is right in front of La Marina Park and is the end of the emblematic Bella Vista Avenue, where every year at this time of the year it is filled with lights and decorations for Christmas, and although it is not such a big square it is one of the favorite places of the citizens.
I have always wondered, what is the story behind its construction and what Angel does it refer to? It seems to me by the sword in his hands who is in the monument is San Miguel Archangel, but the truth I can not say but if so surely is a protector for our city and those who live in it, the same is inside a water fountain and can be seen from above.
A huge metal structure surrounds the space, which holds and shapes the Virgin of Chiquinquira which is the patron saint of our state, its lights stand out and makes her wear her mantle, rosary, crown and the baby Jesus in her arms, her aurora was recently changed and appears to carry flowers on it, her faces look so real that I could feel my skin bristling, the emotion of seeing her for me as a catholic is of great relevance, this monument was built in honor of the 300 years of the apparition of the Chinita, by the architect Imad Amer.
While I was taking a tour inside the luminous promenade people were sitting on benches appreciating the lights around them both inside and outside the monument, you could see some metal structures representing the stars and the moon that made me feel very close to the sky, full of majesty, it's amazing how something as simple as being there makes me feel so good.
My family accompanied me on this little night adventure and before Christmas is over I couldn't help but share it with you, always happy to show you every place important to me whether new or familiar as it is always good to go back to where we love to be.

Mi Maracaibo es hermosa, pero luce a煤n mejor durante las noches decembrinas, es imposible no quedar cautivado con cada uno de los adornos o luces en 茅sta 茅poca, las ni帽as aman verlas y yo ni hablar siento que vuelvo a mi ni帽ez cuando estoy en cada lugar, la magia de la Navidad puede sentirse en todos los rincones y tiene un brillo especial llena de colores que nos caracterizan como Marabinos y nos emocionan como si fuera la primera vez.
La Plaza El 脕ngel queda justo al frente del Parque La Marina y es el final del recorrido de la emblem谩tica Av. Bella Vista, donde cada a帽o para 茅stas fechas se llena de luces y decoraciones por tratarse de la Navidad, y aunque no es una plaza tan grande es uno de los espacios favoritos de los ciudadanos.
Siempre me he preguntado, 驴Cu谩l es la historia detr谩s de su construcci贸n y a que 脕ngel hace referencia? A mi parecer por la espada que lleva en sus manos qui茅n se encuentra en el monumento es San Miguel Arc谩ngel, pero la verdad no puedo afirmarlo pero de ser as铆 seguramente es un protector para nuestra ciudad y quienes vivimos en ella, el mismo encuentra dentro de una fuente de agua y puede observarse desde lo alto.
Una enorme estructura met谩lica rodea el espacio, la cu谩l sostiene y le hace forma a la Virgen del Chiquinquir谩 la cu谩l es la patrona de nuestro estado, sus luces resaltan y le hace lucir su manto, rosario, corona y el ni帽o Jes煤s en sus brazos, su aurora fue recientemente cambiada y aparece llevar flores en ella, sus rostros parecen tan reales que pod铆a sentir como se erizada mi piel, la emoci贸n de verla para mi como cat贸lica es de gran relevancia, este monumento fue construido en honor a los 300 a帽os de la aparici贸n de la Chinita, por el arquitecto Imad Amer.
Mientras daba un recorrido por el interior del paseo luminoso las personas se encontraban sentadas en bancas apreciando las luce a su alrededor tanto dentro como fuera del monumento, pod铆an verte algunas estructuras met谩licas como representaban las estrellas y la luna que me hac铆an sentir muy cerca del cielo, lleno de majestuosidad, es incre铆ble como algo tan simple como el hecho de estar ah铆 me hace sentir tan bien.
Mi familia me acompa帽贸 en 茅sta peque帽a aventura nocturna y que antes de que se acabe la Navidad no pod铆a dejar de compartirles, siempre contenta de mostrarles cada lugar importante para m铆 ya sea nuevo o conocido ya que siempre es bueno volver a donde amamos estar.
