God has a commandment of what you will wear, he specifies that you cover the inner man and the outer man. The children of God should be different in dressingas well as in its outward appearances 2 Corinthians 4:16.
The outward man is regarded as our body and it's weak and can be affected by sickness such as arthritis and cancer.
The inner/inward man is the same all the time, it doesn't change, the same feeling you had when you were young is the same way it will be till you're old. It's eternal while the outward man is temporal.
We're admonished to be aware of those who come as wolves in sheep clothings
matthew 7:15 talked being aware of false prophet
Proverbs 26;11 informs us that a mire which is the outward man is referred to as one that returns to his vomit. Some men are human outwardly and inside they're wolves.
A man who beats his wife is a beast and doesn't have the fear of God. The inner man would not want to hurt the one who has loved and taken care of him all the while. It's the absence of the inner man that makes men behave recklessly and act in a disdainful manner.
Man in the beginning wasn't designed to be like that, in
Genesis 1:26 gives us a proper definition of who a man is and what God intentions was for him
The bible defines a man as someone who's created in the image of God and was given dominion. He's referred to as a creature that's not evil. And that will behave like God.
How do we discern the nature of man.
The best way to discern the nature of a man since you can't see his heart is to know where his delight is. If his delight is in the lord. It means he has his inner man trained and is subjected to Christ teachings.
Not loving your wife and people around is a second way to discern the heart of a man.
A man who beats and bullies is wide doesn't have the delight of the lord in him and he's a wolf in sheep clothings.
Outward adorning is prohibited for Christians. Those who really want to repent God should avoid the noise of nose ring, and piercing of the skin .
Peter admonishing us spoke against it in
Christian should adorn the inner man. The adornment of the outward man causes cancer and other skin diseases as an example was sighted by president John Kennedy's wife, who died of skin cancer.
Conclusively christian who are called and want to represent Christ improve on the inner man by showing love to one another and being delightful in the things of the lord. This is what brings to subjection if the outward man and kills it from us
