I love it when justice is speaking. If not for anything, to make others be aware that laws still exist and no one is exempted from the consequences attached for committing crimes or evil of any kind in the society.
For some time now, there has been a video of a ten-year-old boy trending on Facebook. The small boy was taken into a family in the form of a house boy, and I wonder why a parent would give out his or her child of such tender age for house help. Even if their level of poverty is severe, it still doesn't justify taking out such a tender child to another family for house help.
Anyways, the deed has been done and maybe other parents will learn. Even if it means begging for food to feed your small child, it's still better than leaving him in the hands of another to train or whatever, but that's not the bone of contention here. So this ten year old boy ,as little as he was, was almost killed by the woman that took him as a house boy. The severe injury this small child sustained in the hands of this evil woman was terrible to behold. Each time I try to look closely, I can't; I usually get emotional seeing what a mother did to another person's child, all in the name of anger.
She obviously unleashed her anger on the small boy and nearly killed him. From the story, I discovered that the woman has been showing so much wickedness to the boy. Looking at the boy, I was wondering the kind of sharp object the woman used to nearly take away the life of this boy. something she can't do to her own biological child . A poor boy who came to your home to serve you, yet you are so evil and treated him like an animal.
Thank God for social media, honestly. A good citizen has to video this wickedness and make the video trend until law plays its role in the life of this evil woman. I watched when she was apprehended and her hands were handcuffed; she kept crying, begging that she go to the prison as charged with her little baby who is still breastfeeding, but no, she wasn't given the opportunity.
Overall, she was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment, and I couldn't stop screaming, I pity her new born, honestly. While others were saying that the punishment is too much, others are advocating for an increment so she can learn more lessons of her life.
However, I love that the authorities didn't allow her to go scot-free for such wickedness, and maybe it will be a caution to other big madams out there who are always maltreating other people's children under their roof.
We can be kind to others, we can actually show empathy, tolerate one another, etc. That way, life will be sweeter.
