Now the latest news is that,
China's Central Bank is about to launch it's own digital currency.
They said that this will make the Chinese currency Yuan a much stronger currency in the financial world.
The PBOC has filed a lot of patents and these explain the following,
The patents indicate the wallet would store a digital currency issued by the central bank or any authorized central entity that is encrypted like a cryptocurrency with private keys, offers multi-signature security and is held by users in a decentralized way.
So we may soon expect a digital currency from China
