It is true that from the beginning the use of the internet has turned us into uninhibited beings due to the comfort of exposing our affairs to the world's opinion. We went from being beings with a social life in person to very well connected anonymous beings, which is why we live to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Maybe you, someone you know or follow in social networks is addicted to share your life through online media, however you should know that as in the cop movies "everything you say (or publish) can be used against you", more if it is on the internet, so being cautious in what you ventilate to the world can be useful in life. You need to know that we are all under surveillance, whether we want it or not there is a power that likes to control and has an army of logarithms at its mercy to help it find any slip you have shared on the web.

I'm not talking about self-censorship, everyone is responsible for what they do with their own lives, I'm talking about being aware of the consequences that a sentence, a video or a photograph can have on your personal life. If you do not know, one of the first demands of employers is that applicants for positions offered by the company disclose their data on social networks, obviously to generate a profile of the person through what he/she vents online.

Of course, prudence is the key in this matter. I understand that many times we women are pressured by our partners to send you some racy picture or video, usually more than lightly clothed, but I tell you girls, in 99% of cases those files are not usually deleted, so it is not enough to trust the word of the person you observe, you should be aware that if you do not want to expose yourself to an embarrassing situation you should avoid revealing your physical intimacy with other people using technological means or social networks, sooner or later the truth always comes to light.

Young people are always the most vulnerable in these matters, especially girls and teenagers, which can be easy prey for any expert in extortion or any other type of crime against people on the web. They usually gain the victim's trust by pretending to be someone else, at the same time the girl is revealing her most intimate secrets and those of her family, sharing with the online predator data that unfortunately will be used against her later on.

Remember, everything you do on the Internet never dies, it will always be present in the virtual world so the more prudent your online attitude the safer your personal life will be. Please do not share things you may regret, not everyone is a friend, not everyone is sincere and not everything should be revealed in the virtual world.
