Hi @gillianpearce, nice to meet you. In Venezuela there is a platform called Orinoco.io which works as a means of exchange of Hive to bolivars (local currency) and other fiat. On the other hand there are small businesses that accept Hive as a means of payment, even Papa John's accepts our crypto for their products. On the other hand LEO are very valuable assets that can be used as a form of savings, exchange them for Hive and then for other cryptos or dollars and acquire certain goods that could be considered luxury, at least in Venezuela. In my case, I have my LEO's so that when they increase in value I can acquire a small place to start my own venture. Thanks for your support, best regards.
