Can you give us some real life examples of how Hive or LEO is used?

How do you actually buy a loaf of bread with LEO or a smartphone if you're not changing it into Fiat?

Where does the person who sells you the smartphone, for example, get it from?

I'm really enjoying reading the posts out of Venezuela and reading about the good that crypto is doing but, when I thought about it, I realised I don't understand how it actually works.
