Last night, while I was very busy writing a perfect calligraphic design on the cardboard, I could never avoid the impending doom which is not to create any mess or mark on the side of my left palm and most importantly not on the cardboard. You might say the stain the pen left was not that much, but for me or for some lefties out there ! It’s something that we should perfectly handle or not miss, because every stroke that we render we put our hearts and effort on it...or I’m just overreacting. 😅lol! Well, the damage has been done..I’ve gotta move on and just accept and convince myself that I made a beautiful mess! 😂
Things that you might not now know about left-handed people:
• Don’t entrust us to write the daily bulletin board at your school or ask us to make a lettering for your special letter. We might not do it well.
• Avoid sitting on our left side especially your elbow is very near to our left elbow while we are seriously writing or holding our spoons, you don’t want to receive a “death stare” from us. Distance is a must! 😑🤪
• If you’re thinking of giving us notebooks as a gift, please don’t give those spiral or spring notebooks.
• Don’t let us write on a white paper or anything that’s white. It would be bloody with inks everywhere.
• Using scissors is such a struggle for us. We have to turn our fingers upside down just to fit them perfectly on the handle.
• Myth: Lefties are more creative. No we’re not, I can certainly vouch for that. We’re just one of those hardworking art enthusiasts out there who just happen to be a lefty.
• Fact: Left-handers tend to perform better with their left hand than using their right hand. 😂🤣😂
What we wish to happen?
I hope there’s also a left arm chair or desks for lefties.
Available plastic bags or hand gears for lefties to avoid smudging while writing or drawing.
Smudge eraser for lefties to remove those ink or pencil marks that we make which sometimes reaches on our elbows or wrists.
