So, with that in mind... maybe something like what Finland or Sweden are doing... it's not a tax, but they're putting the carbon cost on meals... and people are choosing the meal that costs the Earth less. I wonder if something like that would favour the Mom and Pop burger places because their meat would be locally sourced instead of transported in from factory farms.

Totally, massively, hugely agree with you about the governments not doing well at using tax payer money correctly. It honestly leads me to research alternatives to governments entirely. Bring on DAOs!
