Currently a topic with a lot to say, a freelancer is a person capable of working on their own that does not depend on a boss or a schedule and does not have to go to a place of work. That is, it decides when to work, when to take vacations, when to accept or reject orders, what kind of work is willing to do and how much to charge for product, service either completed or by working hours.
A freelancer does not have an office, but works from home. Whether you organize a corner of your home with a desk and your basic tools (always a computer or PC) while sitting down to take coffee in pajamas and stockings or just a formal shirt for visibility on the webcam depending on your job ... Either you do not worry about that and work directly with your computer from your sofa, garden, patio, balcony, bed, dining table or even from the bathroom. (xD)
Yes, don't even ask! by answering your question, I am a freelancer / independent worker.
I'm a Graphic Designer / Web Developer / Social Media Advisor (social networks) and social media marketing / Writer, as you can see / Musician (I have a band) / and Plastic Artist to his services (Pinto, I do portraits, cartoons, logos to hand - hand made-) to order;)
Indie is a term used to refer to the word "independent" is currently very fashionable due to the use given by independent musicians, (indie music) - no, it is not a genre, it is a lifestyle - also due to the Independent brands and this is the #independent or autonomous movement that is trending in various areas carrying the slogan "on my own."
Whether you have a career, a degree in a course or not, but you have some knowledge with which you can be of great help to others, you could become a freelancer.
Because we are a relatively new phenomenon or social object, even a fairly large number of society is not well aware that it is a freelancer, such as being a freelancer, the benefits and cons. For what I have decided (at the suggestion of my dear mother Hive account@enriquetta) to tell you a bit about it and I am also thinking about creating a series of posts clarifying all these things. So if you have any questions about it, you can leave me a message and I will respond or maybe post about that concern you have.
Of course, you have to know that not everything is beautiful, because every job no matter how much you love doing it, no matter how easy it is for you or that you have experience and even though you are the one who directs your growth and work and artistic evolution, everything Value requires effort and that is the beauty of getting money doing what you like or what you know how to do in a comfortable, calm way, by your own means and without unnecessary pressure. (Only the necessary ones) That's right! not everything smells like roses, but at the end of each job, the satisfaction is indescribable and incredible. Soon we will talk more about this matter, thanks for reading; I'd like to know what you think.
To finalize this post, you should know that if you are in Steemit and you are looking for income through your talent writting, you are a freelancer. Congratulations!
