I would like to take a moment of your time to introduce you to Layla. This beautiful girl belongs to my daughter and that makes Layla my "granddog."

Layla was one of the lucky ones! Shortly after my daughter moved to Dallas, she saw Layla on a shelter's online site and rushed to adopt her before she was euthanized. That was five years ago.
Layla is a real sweetheart who tries her best to make herself look smaller than she actually is by curling herself up tightly on your lap, bed, pillows...anywhere!
In this photo, Layla gives me her prized innocent look as she lays down underneath the piano bench while watching all the Christmas activities going on.
Would anyone care to take a guess as to what kind of breeds Layla is? My daughter did a DNA test to find out and the surprising results are below.
Nobody should be surprised by the song I picked to go with my post!

Layla is part Husky, Chow, Blue Heeler, Lab, and Collie...not a trace of German Shepherd!
