Hace casi dos meses desde que me he unido a Hive y desde entonces no paro de descubrir cosas nuevas en la blockchain, y aunque intento ir aventurándome de manera cuidadosa no puedo evitar interesarme por las propuestas que voy descubriendo.

Durante la #HiveMarterClass que me introdujo a este mundo, el Hive Power up Day fue un tema comentado, aunque estando tan nueva no pude participar el mes pasado, no cumplía aún con los requisitos mínimos. Pero si mantuve el interés y estuve vigilando mi evolución durante este mes para que fuera posible participar el día de hoy, no ha sido fácil porque fuera de #Hive tengo muchas actividades que requieren mi atención, pero creo que poco a poco estoy consiguiendo un equilibrio o al menos una forma de organizarme para poder dedicarle un tiempo bastante aceptable a la comunidad.

Antes de hacer el power up mi situación era la siguiente:

It's been almost two months since I joined Hive and since then I keep discovering new things in the blockchain, and although I try to venture carefully I can't help but be interested in the proposals that I discover.

During the HiveMarterClass that introduced me to this world, the Hive Power up Day was a topic of discussion, although being so new I could not participate last month, I still did not meet the minimum requirements. But I kept my interest and I was watching my evolution during this month so that it was possible to participate today, it has not been easy because outside Hive I have many activities that require my attention, but I think that little by little I am achieving a balance or at least a way to organize myself to be able to dedicate a quite acceptable time to the community.

Before doing the power up my situation was the following:

He ido probando durante este corto tiempo distintas formas de interactuar en la comunidad y de gestionar las recompensas, posiblemente haya mejores formas para guarda las ganancias que simplemente manteniéndolas en la wallet pero por ahora no me he adentrado en inversiones y distintos tipos de transacciones afines.

Para mi ha sido pura diversión, compartir en Peakd experiencias y fotografías que es algo que siempre me había gustado hacer y que nunca antes me había generado algún beneficio económico, así que esa parte es un extra que aunque aprecio mucho no es mi motivación principal, también llevar un ritmo continuo de actividad física con @actifit me ha encantado y sobre todo lo grato que ha sido interactuar con miembros de la comunidad en los canales de discord y lo mucho mucho que he aprendido en las actividades de curación.

Creo que esta dinámica es la que me ha hecho generar esta pequeña, aunque bastante decente, cantidad de recompensas en HBD que no tenía idea hasta hace un par de semanas que podía utilizar para hacer power up hoy.

I have been trying during this short time different ways to interact in the community and to manage the rewards, possibly there are better ways to keep the earnings than just keeping them in the wallet but for now I have not gone into investments and different types of related transactions.

For me it has been pure fun, sharing in Peakd experiences and pictures which is something I always liked to do and never before had generated me any economic benefit, so that part is an extra that although I appreciate a lot is not my main motivation, also to carry a continuous rhythm of physical activity with @actifit I have loved and especially how nice it has been to interact with members of the community in the discord channels and how much I have learned a lot in the activities.

I think this dynamic is what has made me generate this small, yet quite decent, amount of rewards in HBD that I had no idea until a couple of weeks ago that I could use to power up today.

Así que con un poco de nervios y bastantes expectativas hice el cambio de esos HBD por Hive y decidí hacer la inversión dentro de la misma blockchain el día de hoy haciéndome eco de esta actividad. Todo lo que tenía en Hive hasta hoy, a mediodía mas o menos, lo utilicé para el Power up, y casi se ha duplicado mi Hp!

Este proceso fue muy sencillo, tal cual como muestran las capturas de pantalla que hice durante el proceso, es tan fácil que al principio pensé que estaba haciendo mal, yo al escuchar tanto sobre lo importante del día de hoy, y la costumbre que hay de promover esto todos los meses pensaba que era todo un lio y no, tan fácil como darle al botón y ya xD Sin hacer cálculos ni pensar, ve y entrega todo el dinero que quieras al poder jajaja

So with a bit of nerves and quite a lot of expectations I made the exchange of those HBD for Hive and decided to make the investment within the same blockchain today echoing this activity. Everything I had in Hive until today, at noon or so, I used it for the Power up, and it has almost doubled my Hp!

This process was very simple, as shown in the screenshots I made during the process, it is so easy that at first I thought I was doing wrong, I heard so much about the importance of today, and the habit of promoting this every month I thought it was all a mess and no, as easy as hitting the button and that's it xD Without doing calculations or thinking, go and give all the money you want to power up hahahaha

Luego de hacerlo me he ido al dashboar a mirar qué había pasado en mi gráfica de crecimiento constante pero sutil, y claro, ha pegado un salto brutal, me causa gracia ese pico, es emotivo, transmite justo lo que estaba sintiendo, a mi me dejó muy satisfecha, probablemente vuelva durante un tiempo a esas andanzas de crecimiento constante, pero ya iremos generando más picos de algarabía en el futuro!

After doing so, I went to the dashboar to see what had happened in my graph of constant but subtle growth, and of course, it took a brutal jump, that peak is funny, it is emotional, it conveys just what I was feeling, it left me very satisfied, I will probably return for a while to those constant growth, but we will generate more peaks of joy in the future!

Casi de inmediato, en el primer post que hice hoy utilizando @liketu, que ha sido mi último descubrimiento dentro de la blockchain, he sido notificada por @hivebuzz que había obtenido la insignia de hoy! Tendré mi abejita! y espero sea una de tamaño apreciable al menos jajaja creo que sería mi primer badge fuera de los que se generan por la actividad.

Hay que reconocer que aunque estas cosas no son lo realmente importante, suele motivar bastante, a mí me gusta la idea de coleccionar insignias y que el compromiso sea reconocido, hacer power up solo por tener la abeja del mes es llamativo.

Almost immediately, in the first post I made today using @liketu, which has been my latest discovery within the blockchain, I have been notified by @hivebuzz that I had obtained today's badge! I will have my little bee! and I hope it's one of appreciable size at least hahaha I think it would be my first badge outside of the ones generated by the activity.

You have to admit that although these things are not really important, it usually motivates a lot, I like the idea of collecting badges and that the commitment is recognized, making power up just for having the bee of the month is striking.

Por último y sé que no es para nada una sorpresa, pues es lo que buscamos cuando aumentamos nuestro HP, mi poder de voto ha aumentado! Puede que era de esperarse, y si que era algo obvio, pero es que cuando uno es nuevo y ha tenido que empezar de cero cuidando de no pasarse con las transacciones por el poco RC que se tiene, esto es una noticia incríble, contar con el doble de poder de voto te permite comenzar a hacerte sentir un poco más como apoyo para otros, sigue siendo un voto minúsculo lo se, pero para mí vale un montón.

Finally, and I know this is not a surprise at all, because it is what we are looking for when we increase our HP, my voting power has increased! Maybe it was expected, and if it was something obvious, but when you are new and you had to start from scratch taking care not to overdo it with the transactions for the little RC you have, this is incredible news, having double voting power allows you to start to feel a little more like support for others, it is still a minuscule vote I know, but for me it's worth a lot.
