Autumn has been cold this year. There are some frosts at night. In the morning, when you look at the roofs, the drizzle is clearly visible. There are few leaves left on the trees.
One is good. Summer quickly ended and many fruits remained on the mountain ash. They did not have time to mature and did not attract birds to them. But at the first night frosts, the clusters immediately filled with juice and turned red.
Thrushes appeared immediately on the mountain ash. They were apparently attracted by tasty berries not much touched by the first frosts. Birds ate delicious berries with pleasure. Therefore, they often began to appear on the branches of mountain ash.
What is good is that they almost did not pay attention to people and were very busy with their own affairs. They cheerfully jumped on the branches, looking for more ripe berries.
It is a pity that this year there are very few birds that love to feast on rowan berries. Fieldfare is also not very much. And the rest of the birds apparently were not attracted by the not very warm summer in our city.
Sometimes the fieldfare, having eaten berries while sitting on the branches, tried to publish their trills. Of course, this is not spring, when birdsong sounds from everywhere. But it's still nice to hear them sing.
I think that these berries will be enough for them for the winter. In winter, there are always more birds who want to taste rowan berries.
