When I go to the forest near the river, I always pass by an old big house. This house doesn't stand much off the road. Therefore, I often just pass by and do not approach him. For a long time, the house housed a sports society. But then the house fell into disrepair. It needed a major overhaul.
Apparently, the local administration did not have the financial resources for repairs. The sports society was transferred to another building. This house has remained without proper maintenance. Gradually it collapsed.
Since this house was located near the forest, various birds and small animals often settled in it.
So today I decided to turn to this house. I didn't go inside because it was dangerous. Decided to go around the house outside. There was still an asphalt area around the house, although the area was always overgrown with grass on the way to the house.
I didn't see anyone near the house. I was already about to leave. Suddenly I hear the rustle of wings. Not far from me, a young jay landed on the sills of the house. I stood motionless next to the bushes so she paid no attention to me.
I tried not to move so as not to startle her. Jay immediately began to inspect the steps in search of food. She did not sit still, but constantly moved.
Of course, she didn't find anything on the steps. Therefore, she began to move to the edge to look for food on the ground.
I also slowly followed her. I tried to stay in the shade of the bush so that the jay would not see me.
Of course, the branches of the bush interfered with me. However, I managed to take a few pictures of this jay. I was satisfied. I didn't even expect the jays to come to this house.
