Many Fieldfare have appeared this spring. There weren't many of them last spring. Thrushes are not very shy. If you do not make sudden movements, but approach them on the sly, you can get quite close.

I have not seen so far that they made nests. But sometimes I see Fieldfare holding large worms or insects in their beaks and at the same time sitting on branches for a long time. Although now there is often a strong wind in the daytime, there are still a lot of Fieldfare . The noise of their wings is clearly audible when they fly by.
Sometimes Fieldfares can be seen in the glades. They walk along the still small grass and look for something on the ground. But as soon as one of the thrush makes a loud sound, they all immediately fly up onto the branches of the trees.
