I have 17 years working in a military base although I am not I have direct contact with military sometimes I go to their training and I witness the difficult situations they live to overcome them, they prepare them to endure cold, heat, hunger, thirst, etc my country has only gone through internal problems their wars are not conventional, in the last training I attended that was one of the questions asked by the trainer .... The enemy catches you and to save your life you have to execute your partner, what do you do?

There was a sepulchral silence, nobody knew what to answer because it is your life or mine, if you are not at war and it is hard for you to answer, imagine the pressure of being in one? While all this training was going on I started to imagine what I would do at that moment? The military are trained physically and mentally to withstand pressure, I do not have the same capacity, the first thing I thought was if we are at war and I am the enemy, most likely after I execute my partner they are going to execute me, without a doubt in war there is no law or human rights, the idea continued to haunt my thoughts.

During lunch I asked them the same question what they would do if they had to choose life or death to defend a comrade, one of them told me that we are psychologically prepared to resist pressure, but how we are going to react depends on the situation because if it is your comrade in arms, but you don't know him, it doesn't affect you, maybe he would have the cold blood to do it.... another comrade told him so you are at war and you are in enemy hands even if you execute him they will still execute you, I would not execute a comrade if we are prisoners that they execute both of us, we are already with the enemy, I would rather try to escape.

At the end of the conversation we came to the conclusion that it is difficult to know how you are going to react in those moments of so much pressure, because even if you are trained and prepared for those war situations we all have feelings that can betray you.
